Sias’ Culture Week Becoming Popular
From Oct. 30 to Nov. 4, Sias International University held its traditional activity – Culture Week. It attracted a lot of visitors from other universities and communities, who came to see its various cultures and special performances. Just like last year, Culture Week was divided into China Day, Asia Day, Africa/Latin America Day, Europe Day and America Day. But what was different was that this year’s show was really international and cross-cultural. There were substantial performances on Africa/Latin America Day because we have a lot of foreign teachers from there. On America Day, there was a show performed by some American teachers. They introduced American history to us through their performance. It was very interesting and attractive. What was most important was there were a lot of visitors at Sias just to see the Culture Week. They gave it high praise and said they wanted to come next year with their friends and families. Culture Week really is the symbol of Sias, and it’s becoming more and more well-known. By Jason English Junior, Class 1 (Jason and ViVian are third-year students at Sias International University. They wrote the top stories of their respective Newspaper/Magazine classes. Their stories were chosen from more than 100 students to appear on this website.)
