Students enjoy play day
Do you remember your childhood? What kind of games did you play? Were they fun? You may think today’s kids are spoiled, immature, lazy and addicted to the Internet. You may be missing your childhood? Well, several Sias International University students found a way to go back in time at the Childhood party, which was part of the Individuality Art Festival on March 28. They played old games that made them feel young again. On the grass around the fountain square, lots of students joined in games, such as “throw handkerchief,” “eagle catch chicken,” “toss sandbag,” and more. “It’s so funny. It reminds me of my childhood,” said Lily Xue, a freshman marketing major. “I always played these games when I was a little kid. And I seldom saw them in recent years. It’s a shame that kids nowadays don’t play them anymore. They play piano, computer or ballet.” “We held this party in order to tell college students to look back from time to time, to remember how beautiful the lives we’ve had are, to help forget the kinds of pressures we face. Play and enjoy our lives!” After hours of fun, the party finished and students left with big smile on their faces. Just because the part is over, students still need to remember this time. They need to find time in life to enjoy beauty and fun.
