Sias and Thailand Northwest University Signs a Cooperative Agreement
On March 21, Thailand Northwest University Delegation which carried on a three day-long exchange visit to our university. The visit was aimed at forming a cooperation on scientific research teaching, academic exchange and other activities. The Thailand Chiang Mai Northwest University was founded in 1974. It is situated in Thailand's second biggest city Chiang Mai, a scenic, historical city. The school is the earliest privately established Institution of higher education in Thailand, also known as a member of the Thailand Higher education Association, the Asian Christian Higher Education Association, and the Southeast Asia Higher Education Association. This university is divided into three school districts, 11 institutes in total, qualified in awarding Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Law, English, German, Nursing and others--altogether 32 majors. With the graceful environment, the rigorous school tradition and the international environment it commands a high domestic prestige.
