Sias International University Swimming Competition
Sias International University and the General Affairs Department of our academy and the Student’s Union jointly sponsored the first swimming competition on April 13th of this year. The competition was held in Sias University’s new Natatorium facility. For two weeks the best of 10 athletes were competing to determine who would deserve the honor of being the best swimmers in their category. The competitions included the following areas for both men and women: 40 meters breaststroke – best time achieved by Li Yue Hao - 30.620 sec and Cui Bing Jie -34.880 seconds. 80 meters breaststroke – the winner Zhu Di Chen, 80 meters freestyle – was taken by Ou Zhi qiang 40 meters freestyle – won by Wang Zhong Heng in 21.680 seconds Relay competition – champions were International Institute of Education team An award ceremony was held after the competitions with an opening speech by Vice President Zhang Xin Min. The awards and medals were also presented to the winners. This was the first international swimming competition held at the Sias Natatorium facility. The event received enthusiastic and overwhelming support from both students and teachers. It was a complete success inspiring students to participate in the future swimming events.
