Freshmen from the School of International Education Liven Up the Campus

On Aug. 18, 2012, nearly 1000 freshmen from the School of International Education (SIE) came to Sias. With open arms, student volunteers guided every freshman to register, pay the tuition and find their dorm. Freshmen students could read words of welcome on many publicity boards standing in Fountain Square.

In order to better educate parents about Sias, SIE held a meeting in the Kennedy Lecture Hall to introduce Sias’s East-Meet-West school operation philosophy, holistic education cultivation objective, and characteristics of the cooperation programs. The school will also hold the 3rd Annual English Education Day activities and a 9-day English training to help the freshmen adjust to the English-only teaching modal as soon as possible.
