The 2013 International Association of University Presidents' semi-annual meeting

On the morning of September 24, sponsored by International Association Of University Presidents (IAUP), Sias hosted the 2013 semi-annual meeting at the administration building.

 

More than 80 well-known university presidents, experts, and scholars from 29 countries came to enhance the mutual understanding between their institutions of higher learning, to promote international exchanges and cooperation, and to discuss the internationalization of higher education development. Neal King, the President of the IAUP, and of Sofia University (USA), reported on the initiatives and partnerships undertaken and announced that the 17th anniversary would be held in 2014. Dr. Shawn Chen welcomed the guests, and briefly touched on the continuing development of Sias.

 

On the evening of the 24th, Dr. Shawn Chen, on behalf of our school, welcomed the guests, and thanked each department for their participation. At the party, he announced the forming of relationships with Fairleigh Dickinson University, Central Oklahoma University, CETYS University of Mexico, Caucasus University, and Privada University (UPB).
