2018 Orientation Coordination Meeting

Thursday, August 23 - On the 23rd of August, Sias convened an Orientation Coordination Meeting to prepare for the start of the 2018/19 academic year. The meeting, held in the administration building, was attended by Sias Party Secretary Ma Jiansheng, Sias President, Chen Sikun, Executive President Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary Li Huafeng, Vice President Wu Hua, and Assistant Principal Guo Xuede. The heads of all relevant departments, academic schools, and residential colleges were also in attendance.

 

President Chen Sikun stressed on the importance of the preparations for the academic year and asked all department heads to fully integrate and coordinate new ideas into the work ahead. The Executive Director of the Administrative Office, Ding Gongci, and the Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office, Jinjin Chu, spoke about the implementation of specific plans and procedures, and received suggestions and opinions of leaders of other departments present at the meeting.

 

Party Secretary Ma Jiansheng delivered important instructions on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen. He spoke of the importance of the coming year and the 20th anniversary celebrations, the added responsibility for leaders, and the importance of working together seamlessly.
