Sias Student Assistant Group Transition Ceremony & Banquet
Monday, January 14 - On the 11th of January, a Transition Ceremony and Banquet were held for the Sias Student Assistant Group in the Sias Library. The Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, was present and was accompanied by the Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, Vice President, Wu Hua, and Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede. The leaders of several departments such as the Administration Office, Academic Affairs Office, Office of International Affairs, Trade Union, and residential academies, were present, as were all the members of the Student Assistant Group.
Dr. Chen said that he was delighted with the growth and development of the Student Assistant Group and thanked them for their invaluable contributions to the development of Sias. He said that he hoped that the new students of Student Assistant Group would continue to carry on in the same spirit of unity and hard work as their predecessors.
Ma Jiansheng announced the winners of the 13th Excellent Student Assistant awards. The Deputy Director of the Administration Office, Ding Gongci, announced the winners of the Excellent Student Administrative Assistants for 2017/18, and also announced the appointment of the 15th Student Administrative Assistants. Dr. Shawn Chen announced the appointment of the 14th Student Assistants to the President's Office. Ma Jiansheng then announced the appointment of the 14th Student Assistants to the University Leaders. University leaders then presented honorary certificates and employment letters to all the student assistants.
