Leaders conduct Classroom Inspections on 1st Day of Semester

Tuesday, September 8 – In keeping with the requirements of the normalization of the situation after the successful prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic, Sias University scheduled the start of the first semester of the academic year 2020/21 for the month of September.

 

The leaders of Sias University, including all mid-level leaders and teaching secretaries conducted classroom inspections for the teaching on the first day of the new semester on the 7th of September. The inspections were conducted to further standardize the teaching management, maintain order, and ensure the smooth progress of the development of teaching work in the 2020/21 academic year. The leadership entered classrooms and met with teachers and students to get a grasp of the classroom atmosphere, to observe the arrangements for the curriculum, to gauge the teaching environment, inspect the teaching equipment, monitor student attendance, and ensure order across the academic schools.

 

Classes began on the 7th of September with 549 teachers and 417 classes. The Sias leadership expressed their satisfaction with the order in classrooms and the energy of teachers and students. They said that they hoped that all departments at the university would implement the requirements of the normalization of the situation after the successful prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic, and make concerted efforts toward the development and completion of teaching goals, as well as ensure the health and safety of teachers and students.

 

Before the start of classes, several departments inspected the teaching facilities, experimental equipment, classroom conditions, and training rooms, and made sure that everything was in order.

 

In accordance with plans for the upcoming semester, Sias leaders will regularly inspect classrooms from time to time, observe teachers and listen to the students' needs. They will also provide feedback and suggestions for teaching to promote the improvement of teaching quality at Sias.
