To ease the pressure for employment that students face, Sias International University encouraged students to achieve employment through entrepreneurship at the 2015 Job Fair held at the CUBA training facility on the morning of October 31. In addition to the recruitment of seniors and graduates, students were also able to engage in venture project matching to further their entrepreneurial skills.
The chief guests were the Deputy Director of Henan's Department of Education, Zhao Guohe, the Deputy Director of Henan Province Human Resources and Social Security Office, Sun Yin, Deputy Secretary of the Service Council of Henan's Industrial and Information Committee for SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises), Wan Zhan Wei, Deputy Director of Student Affairs in Henan's Department of Education, Wu Jianzhong, Founder of Plug&Play and co-founder of the Sias-Amidi Incubation Center, Rahim Amidi, Zhengzhou Marriott International Hotel Human Resources Director, Shao Feng, Sias Party Secretary, Fei Hexiang, Sias Vice President, Liu Shuqin, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, and Supervisor Li Haijun.
Fei Hexiang delivered a speech at the opening ceremony and spoke of Sias' unique nature of 'East-meets-West' and its aims of developing Chinese students who speak fluent English while developing the essential knowledge, skills, and innovative endeavor to make use of their talents. Schools and students alike attach great importance to employment, and the Sias-Amidi Incubation Center, an institute of innovation and entrepreneurship, helps students realize this goal while giving them the freedom to pursue their chosen path.
The 2015 Job Fair attracted nearly 700 companies from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Zhengzhou like Central China Securities, Yonyou Software (formerly UFIDA Software), Ping An Insurance, China Life Insurance, China Southern Airlines, and GOME. There were about 25,000 jobs on offer at Sias' 2015 Job Fair.
