Sias University held its 2021 Spring Job Fair on March 14 at the Sias Basketball Arena. Vice President, Xu Shengdao, visited the Job Fair to meet with students and recruitment representatives from various enterprises. The Job Fair was held to guide graduating students toward choosing higher-quality jobs, ensuring employment, and to follow the guidelines for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Job Fair had representatives from over 400 companies with over 9,500 jobs on offer and over 3,500 students submitting applications. At the Job Fair, the Academic Affairs Office ensured that the students entered the venue in accordance with the guidelines for the prevention and control of the Coronavirus pandemic set up by Sias that included the scanning of QR codes, temperature measurement, registration, disinfection, and other essential steps. The heads of the residential colleges also met with recruiters to learn more about the needs of employers. Students spent their time talking to potential employers and gauging their scope for growth with regard to their professional goals. After checking students' résumés, several recruiters held on-site interviews.

Sias set up career planning and employment consulting stations to aid students with their employment rate, résumé guidance, and career planning. The Employment and Entrepreneurship Department brought in senior employment guidance teachers to provide consultation services, address students' doubts, and teach students about employment policies.

According to the statistics, 3,584 résumés were submitted by students and 53 seminars were held by recruiters. Several students and employers reached preliminary employment agreements.

Sias University has long held graduating students' employment as a vital part of its ethos. The university will hold large-scale online job fairs and special job fairs throughout the current semester.
