Sias University's Employment & Entrepreneurship Department held its first Offline Job Fair since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. Since the announcement of the event on September 16, a total of 214 enterprises signed up. The Employment & Entrepreneurship Department selected 19 representative enterprises from various industries and fields to participate in the recruitment fair.
With the increased difficulties in employment for graduates in 2020 because of the Coronavirus pandemic, Sias University set up the job fair to provide a head-start for the graduates of 2021. As a follow-up to the Employment & Entrepreneurship Mobilization Conference, the Employment & Entrepreneurship Department established university-enterprise cooperation in 7 provinces and cities.
With the cooperation of academic schools and residential colleges, students from the graduating class of 2021 met with representatives of various enterprises in on-site interactions. The Employment & Entrepreneurship Department plans on hosting a recruitment fair every week. According to the plan, Sias University is scheduled to host a large job fair on November 14.
The Employment & Entrepreneurship Department will hold special lectures and job fairs in cooperation with residential colleges and academic schools so that companies and enterprises can connect with students based on their requirements and the students' qualifications. The goal is to provide a wide range of employment opportunities to Sias graduates in a difficult year.
