The 6th National Autumn Job Fair was held at Sias International University's CUBA Training Facility on November 17. The Job Fair was specifically for large and medium-sized cities. It was organized by the Department of Human Resources & Social Security of Henan Province, and was jointly sponsored by the Henan Talents Exchange Center and Sias.
The6th National AutumnJob Fair is a national-level undertaking for graduates from colleges and universities in Henan. The purpose is to build a platform for employers from all provinces and cities to recruit talent from Henan. This in turn would provide the resources needed for national employment and public service institutions in large and medium-sized cities. It provides convenient and efficient services for job hunting and employment.
Sias used its official website, micro-blog, WeChat, and other social media platforms to publicize the Job Fair.
During the Job Fair, leaders from Henan's Department of Human Resources & Social Security, the Henan Talents Exchange Center, and other provincial departments were present. The Founder and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, Sias President, Chen Sikun, Executive President, Wang Jialin, Vice President, Wu Hua, and Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede, were also present in the CUBA Training Facility. They spoke with students and provided career guidance, answered job-hunting queries, communicated with employers, and listened to the suggestions of both students and recruiters.
Over 600 booths were spread across the CUBA Training Facility from central government-owned agencies, state-government-owned agencies, publicly listed companies, high-tech enterprises, industrial companies, universities, and medical institutions, from Henan, Guangdong, Hainan, Anhui, Jilin, Zhejiang, and Xinjiang among other provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. Around 23,000 jobs were on offer for the 13,100 students who submitted applications.
Jobs were on offer from well-known companies like Hua Lan Bioengineering, Han Wei Technology, the Yellow River Industrial Group, Beijing Gas Blue Sky, and Tsingtao Brewery. The various fields of the jobs on offer included electrical automation, software, business administration, human resources, finance, international trade, medicine, information technology (IT), real estate, logistics, electronic engineering, education, food service, catering, and environmental protection.
The recruitment platform for graduates was created by the Department of Human Resources & Social Security, and used big data and other intelligent modes for recruitment. The goal was to create efficient methods to increase the success rate and stability of recruitment to meet the demands of graduates.
Senior human resources experts, academics, counselors, and career planners were present to provide employment guidance services for students. One-on-one professional counseling was available to hone students' job-hunting skills.
