On March 27, Prof. Veselin Vukotić, Rector of the University of Donja Gorica in Montenegro (UDG), and his delegation visited Sias for an exchange. They engaged in a warm and friendly meeting with Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, as well as Prof. Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University. Representatives from the Office of International Affairs and related staff accompanied them throughout the visit.

The delegation visited Sias Digital Technology School, Student Activity Center, French Garden, School of Foreign Languages, among other educational and teaching facilities. They gained a comprehensive understanding of Sias's history and international ambiance, and expressed their deep admiration for our picturesque campus environment and distinctive architectural design.

In the conference room on the 15th floor of the Sias Library, the two sides held a symposium. At this meeting, Dr. Chen, speaking on behalf of Sias University, extended a warm welcome to UDG delegation. He then introduced various aspects of Sias University, including its campus construction, educational philosophy, international educational characteristics, and recent achievements. Dr. Chen further proposed that, building upon their existing Chinese-foreign cooperative education initiatives, the two universities could enhance their collaboration in areas such as student exchanges, faculty research, and joint discipline construction.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on Inter-University Cooperation was signed between University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro, and Sias University. Dr. Chen and Prof. Veselin Vukotić, representing their respective universities, put their signatures on the agreement, signifying the two parties' commitment to deepening cooperation in student exchange programs, faculty visits, and other related areas.

In the afternoon, the delegation visited the School of Employment and Entrepreneurship, the School of Physical Education, and the Kansas International School at Sias University. They were eager to learn more about Sias's innovative model of industry-education integration and its efforts in cultivating an internationalized educational environment. Additionally, the delegation held a special lecture titled “Lectures from the School of Life” for Sias students in the lecture hall located on the first floor of Classroom Building No. 16. During the appointment ceremony, Prof. Lucy Lu, representing Sias University, presented Prof. Veselin Vukotić, the Rector of the University of Donja Gorica, Montenegro, with a certificate of appointment as Visiting Professor. This marked a significant milestone in the cooperation and exchange between the two universities.

The University of Donja Gorica in Montenegro, founded in 2007, is the largest private university in the country. With 12 faculties, including the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, the Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business, and the Faculty of Culture and Tourism, it stands as one of the most important educational institutions in Montenegro, a country located along the “Belt and Road” initiative's route.
