On the morning of May 19, 2025, Sias Summer Camp officially kicked off at the Student Activity Center. Young scholars from across the globe gathered at Sias to embark on a vibrant journey filled with cultural exchanges and growth opportunities. This summer camp aims to foster international cultural dialogue, broaden students' global perspectives, and cultivate a new generation of talents equipped with global competence. Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, delivered the opening address, while Prof. Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University, presided over the ceremony.

Dr. Chen extended a warm welcome to campers from diverse countries and regions, sharing Sias's long-standing commitment to international education and its efforts in building cross-cultural exchange platforms. He emphasized that Sias remains dedicated to providing students with multidimensional learning and development opportunities, encouraging participants to cherish this experience, forge international friendships, immerse themselves in cultural diversity, and become ambassadors of global understanding.

The opening ceremony's interactive game session ignited the atmosphere. During the "Drumbeat Flower Pass" activity, the symbolic "Sias Lion" mascot circulated among participants, with those holding it invited to showcase talents—ranging from traditional folk songs to cultural stories—deepening mutual understanding and camaraderie.

The seven-day summer camp will offer a rich agenda, including Chinese cultural courses (e.g., martial arts, traditional crafts), academic lectures, group discussions, hands-on activities, and field trips. These initiatives aim to provide a comprehensive platform for campers to experience China's development and unique charm firsthand.
