Deepening Industry–Education Integration to Cultivate E-commerce Talent — Sias University Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Shenzhen Cross-Border E-Commerce Association

To further advance industry–education integration, support the development of the local digital economy, and cultivate high-quality cross-border e-commerce professionals, Sias University held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony with the Shenzhen Cross-Border E-Commerce Association on the morning of March 23. The event also included the appointment ceremony for master’s supervisors in the digital economy. The ceremony took place in the conference room on the seventh floor of the Administration Building.

Ma Hongwei, Party Secretary of Xinzheng Municipal Committee, and Vice Mayor Zhang Zhihong attended the event, along with Wang Xin, Executive Chair and President of the Shenzhen Cross-Border E-Commerce Association, and Vice President Zhao Yuxin of Sias University. Representatives from the Xinzheng Municipal Office and Bureau of Commerce, association members, and university representatives from the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Economics and Management were also present. The ceremony was hosted by Zhao Yuxin.

In his opening remarks, Zhao Yuxin welcomed the distinguished guests and noted that the university is currently at a critical stage of optimizing its academic structure and enhancing educational quality. He emphasized that this cooperation represents a key initiative in aligning education with industry needs and advancing integration between academia and enterprise. The university, he said, will fully support the implementation of the agreement and work collaboratively to explore innovative models for cultivating cross-border e-commerce talent.

Wang Xin expressed strong appreciation for the university’s international outlook and its achievements in industry–education integration. She highlighted that under the national strategy of strengthening trade, interdisciplinary talent has become essential for industry development. The association, she noted, will leverage its industry resources to collaborate with Sias University in developing curricula and cultivating practice-oriented professionals, contributing new momentum to the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem in Xinzheng.

Ma Hongwei congratulated both sides on the partnership and emphasized that supporting enterprises in expanding into international markets through cross-border e-commerce is a key driver of local economic growth. He stated that the municipal government will provide full support and services to ensure the success of the collaboration and help translate plans into tangible results.

Zhang Zhihong stressed the importance of effective implementation and regular progress reporting to ensure the cooperation delivers meaningful outcomes.

Under the witness of attending leaders, Zhao Yuxin and Wang Xin signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement on behalf of both parties. This was followed by the appointment ceremony for master’s supervisors in the digital economy, during which Wang Xin was officially appointed as a graduate supervisor at Sias University.

During the discussion session, participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on cooperation details and innovative talent cultivation models. The signing of this agreement marks a significant step forward in collaborative education among government, university, and industry partners in the field of cross-border e-commerce, and will contribute to the development of high-quality, application-oriented talent for regional economic and social development.
