To further promote coordinated talent cultivation between universities and local schools, expand high-quality student recruitment channels, and build a long-term cooperation bridge between high schools and universities, Sias University organized a recruitment outreach campaign in Nanyang from April 16 to 17. Led by university representatives, a delegation from the Admissions and Employment Office and Boyi Residential College, along with student development mentors, visited five high schools: Nanzhao County No. 1 Senior High School, Nanyang Boya Future High School, Nanyang Wolong District Boya School, Nanyang No. 2 High School, and Fangcheng County No. 1 Senior High School.

During the visits, leaders from the five high schools warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed strong recognition of Sias University’s educational philosophy, residential college system, and internationalized approach. All schools indicated their willingness to use this exchange as an opportunity to enhance collaboration, promote resource sharing, and strengthen the connection between secondary and higher education in talent cultivation.

University representatives introduced the institution’s history, academic strengths, international achievements, residential college system, and graduate employment prospects. They also elaborated on the university motto, “Integrating Chinese and Western Traditions, Uniting Knowledge and Practice.”

During the dedicated information sessions, the recruitment team provided policy briefings and academic guidance to senior-year teachers and over a thousand students across the five schools. The sessions covered admissions policies, academic programs, application strategies, campus life, and scholarship systems. Interactive Q&A sessions were also held, offering practical and personalized guidance to help students make informed decisions about their university applications.

This outreach initiative represents an important step in Sias University’s ongoing efforts to attract high-quality students and strengthen collaborative talent cultivation with local education partners. Moving forward, Boyi Residential College will continue working with the Admissions and Employment Office to deepen engagement with outstanding high schools, improve student development and recruitment mechanisms, and lay a solid foundation for the university’s high-quality development.
