On April 24, the 10th Anniversary Development Conference marking the first cohort enrollment of Schwarzman College at Tsinghua University was held in Beijing. Stephen A. Schwarzman addressed the audience, while Dean Xue Lan presented a comprehensive report reviewing progress in student recruitment, academic development, and international collaboration. Two distinguished alumni representatives also shared their personal growth stories, demonstrating the impact of the College’s educational model.

A highlight of the conference was the “21st Century Leadership Dialogue.” Prominent speakers including Stephen A. Since its founding, Schwarzman College has been committed to cultivating globally minded, high-level talent. Xi Jinping has twice sent congratulatory letters, encouraging the College to build a world-class platform for international education and promote cross-cultural exchange among young people worldwide. To date, the College has brought together more than 1,200 young scholars from over 100 countries and regions, growing into a globally influential education platform. In 2022, Ban Ki-moon addressed graduates, encouraging them to become global citizens who embrace cultural diversity.

Dr. Shawn Chen noted that, in his capacity as Chair of the World Federation of United Nations Associations and the Global University Presidents Forum, he will continue to support the international development of Schwarzman College and promote global youth exchange and cooperation. He added that Sias University shares a highly aligned vision with Schwarzman College in advancing international education and talent cultivation. Looking ahead, Sias University will actively learn from Schwarzman College’s experience in fostering global perspectives, talent development, and international resource integration, further expanding its internationalization pathways and building higher-level platforms for exchange and collaboration—leveraging education to strengthen mutual understanding and empower global development through youth innovation.
