On May 8, Ma Ji, Vice President of the Education Business Group of iFLYTEK, led a delegation to visit our university for discussions on further deepening industry-education integration and jointly cultivating high-quality applied talents in the field of artificial intelligence. Vice President Zhao Yuxin attended the meeting, accompanied by representatives from the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Engineering.

As a demonstration university for applied technology-oriented undergraduate education in Henan Province, our university has maintained close cooperation with iFLYTEK since 2019. The two sides have jointly established a modern industrial college and actively explored innovative models for industry-education integrated talent cultivation. This exchange aimed to review the achievements of previous cooperation, align future development needs, and further strengthen the connection between university education and industry demands.

During the meeting, Ma Ji introduced iFLYTEK’s latest developments in the artificial intelligence industry and shared the company’s initiatives in technology-enabled education and collaborative talent cultivation. Zhao Yuxin presented the university’s progress in promoting “AI+X” educational reform. Both sides held in-depth discussions on further advancing cooperation in areas such as joint program development, scenario-based empowerment, and ecosystem collaboration, and reached broad consensus on future cooperation.

During the student exchange session, Ma Ji interacted with students on topics including AI industry development, technology application trends, and career planning. She noted that the rapid evolution of the artificial intelligence industry has created a strong demand for applied talents with interdisciplinary knowledge and practical skills. She encouraged students to make full use of the industry-education integration platform to enhance their professional abilities through real-world projects and achieve deeper integration between technology and practice.

Students attending the meeting actively shared their experiences and learning outcomes gained through the “factory-on-campus” training model and enterprise internships, highlighting their growth under the industry-education integration approach.

Both sides expressed their commitment to continuing to leverage iFLYTEK’s technological ecosystem and the university’s strengths in applied talent cultivation. Together, they aim to further integrate education, talent development, and industry needs, build a model for industry-education collaboration, and cultivate more high-quality digital and intelligent applied talents to support regional digital economic development.
