Representatives from the Office of Scientific Research, heads of relevant degree programs, and staff responsible for the master’s program application work also participated.

The meeting focused on the monthly implementation plans for five master’s degree programs. It reviewed current progress, identified key issues, and arranged priority tasks for the next stage of development.

At the meeting, heads of each degree program reported in detail on their progress based on the monthly construction plan for master’s degree authorization applications. They systematically reviewed the implementation of key indicators, including faculty development, talent cultivation, research capacity, and training conditions and environment. They also identified current shortcomings and proposed targeted improvement measures.

Participants held in-depth discussions on key issues such as improving construction quality and strengthening cross-department coordination, further aligning development strategies and ensuring the effective implementation of monthly tasks.

Professor Yuan Guanglin affirmed the university’s phased achievements in the development of degree authorization programs. He emphasized that all units must strictly follow benchmarks and implementation plans, and put forward four requirements:

First, strictly implement the monthly work plan, adopt a task-based approach, refine milestones, and ensure all tasks are effectively completed.

Second, maintain a problem-oriented approach and address shortcomings in faculty, research, and talent cultivation.

Third, strengthen overall coordination, clarify responsibilities, and build strong cross-departmental collaboration.

Fourth, uphold strict quality standards, refine application materials, highlight disciplinary strengths, and advance program construction at a high level.

In the next stage, the university will focus on key timelines, strengthen implementation, address weaknesses in indicators, and comprehensively improve the quality and efficiency of master’s degree authorization development, supporting high-quality, connotative development of the university.
