On the afternoon of July 1, Sias University held the Graduation and Recognition Ceremony for the First AI+X Vibe Coding Experimental Class and the Admission Information Session for the Second Cohort at the T2 Teaching Building. Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, attended the event and delivered a speech. Leaders from relevant administrative departments, faculty members and students from the first cohort, teaching assistants, representatives from various schools, and prospective applicants for the second cohort participated in the event. The meeting was chaired by Bai Meng, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Department.

Dr. Shawn Chen emphasized that the AI+X education and teaching reform initiative is an important direction for the university’s ongoing digital transformation in education and its efforts to develop talent empowered by artificial intelligence. The establishment of the AI+X Vibe Coding Experimental Class aims to guide students in using AI tools to enhance professional learning, real-world projects, and problem-solving processes, thereby improving the quality of outcomes and practical abilities.

He highlighted that the key to AI+X lies not only in “AI” itself, but also in using AI to empower one’s own “X” — the individual’s professional field and expertise. He encouraged the experimental class to continue strengthening its focus on real-world projects, promoting deeper participation from academic schools and faculty members, and becoming a model project for applied talent development reform and digital transformation in education at Sias University.

During the ceremony, the university presented completion certificates to student and faculty members who successfully completed the training program. Honor certificates were also awarded to outstanding participants who demonstrated exceptional dedication, growth, and teamwork contributions.

During the achievement showcase and growth-sharing session, representatives from the first cohort presented two student practical projects and one faculty AI-integrated teaching reform design. The presentations focused on real-world needs, AI collaboration, operational results, and personal growth experiences, highlighting the experimental class’s achievements in AI literacy development, Vibe Coding training, practical project implementation, and exploration of teaching reform.

Xiao Fujun, the class advisor of the experimental program, introduced the overall development of the first cohort and the admission plan for the second cohort. He also discussed application requirements, selection procedures, course project mechanisms, learning expectations, and support resources with faculty members and students.

The second AI+X Vibe Coding Experimental Class will continue selecting students from across the university who demonstrate enthusiasm for AI learning, self-motivation, teamwork awareness, and a willingness to participate in real-world project practice. It will also further encourage faculty participation in AI-integrated curriculum reform and teaching innovation.

The AI+X Vibe Coding Experimental Class is an important pilot initiative launched by Sias University to reform talent cultivation in the era of artificial intelligence. The program focuses on three main components: AI literacy courses, Vibe Coding courses, and real-world project practice.

Through practical tasks, students learn how to use AI tools for problem analysis, system development, result improvement, and collaborative project delivery. At the same time, faculty members deepen AI-integrated teaching reform through classroom observation and practical exploration.

Sias University will continue using the experimental class as a foundation to improve its AI+X talent development system and promote deeper integration of artificial intelligence into student growth, faculty development, and educational reform.
