Boya Residential College has a belief that "Students are Always First" and provides entrepreneurial guidance services by creating a learning exchange platform with opportunities for experience and practice. Students are encouraged to study and grow in a healthy and positive environment in the big family of the residential college. Sias University's motto - "East meets West; Integrating Knowledge and Practice" - is combined with Boya Residential College's down-to-earth attitude. It aims to explore high-quality innovative training methods combining a traditional Chinese academy with a Western University’s residential college. It is open, pluralistic, international, and innovative.
As a new type of student management, education, educational environment, and living community, Boya Residential College guides students to change from simple management to a holistic dimension of growth. Its goal is to build an educational platform in the multicultural ‘Boya Town’.
The Boya Residential College implements a combination of a liberal education, holistic education, and integrated education to enrich the content of the "second classroom", with morality at its core. It highlights the ideological and political education which focuses on students' values, knowledge, abilities, and quality. It has also instituted the Boya Navigation Plan, the Boya Travel Plan, the Boya Garden View Project, and the Boya Citizen Plan. Centering on the residential college's multicultural theme, in combination with its international and pluralistic characteristics, it aims to build a multicultural community, create a multicultural landscape, and nurture a multicultural brand based on the province of Henan for the future of the nation. The Boya Residential College aims to produce all-round talent with an international vision, a Chinese soul, and an innovative spirit.
