CNKI (China National Knowledge Internet)

CNKI is a key national research and information publishing institution in China, led by Tsinghua University, and supported by China's Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science, Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party, and General Administration of Press and Publication. The project was launched in 1996 by Tsinghua University and Tsinghua Tongfang Company. Its first database was the China Academic Journals Full-text Database, which became popular in China, especially in academic libraries. In 1999, CNKI started to develop online databases. To date, CNKI has built a comprehensive China Integrated Knowledge Resources System, that includes journals, doctoral dissertations, master's degree theses, proceedings, newspapers, yearbooks, statistical yearbooks, e-books, patents, and standards. It has established 10 services centers in Beijing, North America, Japan, North Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and it is widely used by universities, research institutes, governments, think tanks, companies, hospitals, and public libraries around the world. It also contains e-books for students.


Superstar E-Book

Superstar E-book Reader is a reading and download management client software launched by Superstar. It offers high-speed downloads for books, book management, the import of books, picture text recognition, book text editing, and a variety of other personalized settings.


Duxiu Academic Search

Duxiu Academic Search is a large-scale database consisting of a large amount of full-text data and basic information, providing users with in-depth access to book chapters and content with full-text search, original literature. It also provides access to various types of academic literature and reference consulting services and is a true academic search engine and documentation service platform.


Wanfang Data

Wanfang Data has been a task force of the Institute of Scientific & Technological Information of China (ISTIC), the Chinese Ministry of Science & Technology, since the 1950s. It focuses on digital resources such as journals, dissertations, conference proceedings, patents, standards, Chinese companies, etc, providing information on Chinese studies (arts/humanities/social sciences), TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Chinese Business, Law, Government, Defense, Military, Science, and Technology.


It has close partnerships with several Chinese ministries, the National Library of China, CALIS (China Academic Library Information System), and several prestigious publishers in China. Branches have been set up all across China in Shanghai, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Xi'an, and Hong Kong. Wanfang Data offers quality customer support and reliable internet access.


Qi Dian Examination Network

Qi Dian Examination Network is engaged in software development, knowledge resource integration, information processing, cultural information dissemination, and value-added services of high-tech companies. In 2005, the "Qi Dian Examination Network" was launched for the whole country. In the past 16 years, it has been well received by teachers and students, providing services for teachers' reference and resources, and students’ grade examinations.


National Research Network Database

The Information Network of the Development Research Center of the State Council (the "National Research Network") was established in March 1998 to provide the Central Government with a macroeconomic network information platform for it to respond to the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis using the Internet and information technology.


In the 20 years since its establishment, it has cooperated extensively with various think tanks and research institutions to build services with macro big data products, macroeconomic business software, research, and advisory services as its core, and to provide comprehensive information technology support for the nation's construction of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics, and to provide decision-making reference for government departments, research institutions and enterprises at all levels in China.


INFOBANK University Financial Database

In 1995, when other developing media enterprises started to use hard copy media to broadcast their messages, China INFOBANK Limited became a pioneer in utilizing the Internet as an information broadcasting platform. Through its special branding and positioning, China INFOBANK stands out as the best source for Chinese business information worldwide. It collects, indexes, and broadcasts Chinese business economic information to satisfy requirements from various business sectors.

Bailianyun

Bailianyun is a professional academic search portal that contains a large number of Chinese and foreign literature data, including 264 Chinese and foreign language databases, with a Chinese document satisfaction rate of 96%, a foreign literature satisfaction rate of 85%. It enhances the library literature protection rate to meet the needs of readers for authoritative materials. Users of Bailianyun can search the library for literature resources, Chinese and foreign books, periodicals, papers, standards, patents, and newspapers, based on a metadata search engine that provides a fast retrieval speed and search results without repetition in a uniform format.


iLearning 2.0 Foreign Language Autonomous Learning Resource Library

iLearning 2.0 Foreign Language Autonomous Learning Resource Library is published by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Society. iLearning 2.0 brings together authoritative experts and scholars from China and abroad to gather high-quality resources at the global level to form a multi-terminal, digital media library with various resources such as electronic reading, audio-visual resources, multilingual learning, quality cloud courses, self-test preparation, and mobile learning.


It is a guided autonomous learning model based on language learning laws and independent learning characteristics - with students' independent testing as the means. iLearning 2.0 can guide users to use all kinds of resources in the library efficiently, improve their ability to listen to foreign languages, speak, read, write, and translate. It comprehensively assesses students' foreign language level (CET-4 or CET-6) and provides professional, copyrighted simulation examinations.


Chang Xiang Academics e-Books; Chang Xiang Reading e-Books

Chang Xiang Academics e-Books prepares digital products and services for teachers and students. The digital resources platform mainly serves group users, such as libraries and publishers. To facilitate reading on different platforms readers can use IOS (Apple) and Android (Android) mobile phones and tablets.


Wanfang Foreign Language Document Guarantee System

Wanfang data resource system is an online database online retrieval system developed by the Institute of Scientific & Technological Information of China (ISTIC) and Wanfang Data Group. The system includes full texts of dissertations, full texts of conference papers, scientific and technological information, and business information.


The National Science and Technology Library (NSTL), Wanfang Data, and NSTL cooperated to create a one-stop unified search and original text transmission for the collection of foreign journals in 1995. With more than 20,000 kinds of academic journals of world-famous publishing houses, more than 1 million papers every year, it gives access to foreign conferences from 1985 to the present, global academic associations, publishing institutions, with a total of 32 million papers.


Peking University Law and China Legal Resource Library

Peking University Law and China Legal Resource Library Database is an integrated professional support service platform for law teaching, scientific research, and preparation in colleges and universities. It contains modules and columns such as China's Legal Resource Bank System (judicial case library, legal and regulatory library, legal dictionary, legal literature, legal literature, contract model, legal instruments).


To provide practical data support for the scientific research and teaching of law it provides a comprehensive data range, a professional classification system, an authoritative collection of sources, accurate search results, the practicality of application functions, and regular data updates. It relies on clustering, interactive retrieval, and text analysis to provide intelligent information retrieval, an interactive chain of information between various types of information, and other new application functions to solve the user's complex search needs.


The legal and regulatory database group covers many databases, such as the Mainland Law Library, the Hong Kong Law Library, the Macau Law Library, the Taiwan Law Library, the Foreign Law Library, the International Treaty Library, the Ancient and Modern Law Library, the Legislative Library, and the Regulation Interpretation Library.


Changxiangxing Book Resource Database

The Changxiangxing Book Resource Database currently contains more than 120,000 kinds of book resources including book covers, items, attached cards, attached websites, supporting e-books, and other book resources. With computers or mobile phones, readers can complete retrieval, downloads, error corrections, requests, and e-book online reading. It helps readers increase their interest, but also reduces the management cost of the library, improves the library's service level, and provides the library with a cloud service model.


Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI)

Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index is an interdisciplinary citation index program in China. It was developed by Nanjing University's Institute for Chinese Social Sciences Research and Assessment, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1998, and was established in 2000. This citation database covers about 500 Chinese academic journals from the humanities and social sciences. Many leading Chinese universities and institutes use CSSCI as a basis for the evaluation and promotion of academic achievements.
