Women's Symposium

The annual Women's Symposium is one of Sias' most distinct traditions and is jointly organized by Global Interactions Inc. and the World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW). The Symposium was founded to guide and help young women develop themselves by focusing on their education and exploring the importance of discovering leadership. They are taught how to serve their communities, the nation, and the world.

The Women's Symposium is held over the course of 3 days, during which students are taught the importance of growth, diversity, and internationalization. They are educated about how their generation can make a considerable contribution to social responsibility and sustainable development, and thereby create a better world. Students are encouraged to break from convention, identify prejudice, and formulate strategies to change their career development.

The Symposium attracts a wide range of experts, scholars, and celebrities from around the world, from a wide range of fields including government, business, and academia. They deliver speeches, lectures, and take part in fora. The fora follow perspectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development goals and try to analyze and discuss the different strategies and methods of public welfare, to improve people's lives around the world by sharing insights into intercultural relations, the empowerment of women, social welfare, and other such goals. Other topics addressed include the integration of women in society and the promotion of gender equality. The experts also meet with students in smaller groups or even one-on-one to motivate, guide, and share their experiences. It provides an excellent opportunity for female students to communicate with and learn from successful women.

The Women’s Symposium is one of the major initiatives that Sias has taken to promote and accelerate the progress of female students so that they would tap their potential and explore the entirety of their life goals. It was also set up to create awareness for all students about fairness, equality, health, service to the community, the nation, and contributing to the betterment of the world.

The World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW) is an active leadership program focused on developing young women for leadership roles that will accelerate women’s leadership worldwide.
