Be a Facilitator

Do you have a passion for global equality? Is part of your personal mission to save the world? Are you a social justice leader? Are you so busy sometimes you wonder why you say yes but continue to do so?

Have I Got an Opportunity for You!

The World Academy for the Future of Women (WAFW) is a bold and daring leadership program that began on the Sias University Campus (Xinzheng, China) in 2009 to engage and promote university women in discovering their potential as leaders. WAFW is entering its 13th year of operations. Over 1,300 young women and young men have completed the WAFW Leadership Program in the past 12 years. From over 25,000 students, WAFW has selected these young leaders to become participants in the World Academy. Upon acceptance, they commit to spending 8-10 hours per week in this year-long program to discover their purpose, passion, and path to being a powerful leader. They attend weekly interactive seminars, computer labs, open fora, and coaching sessions. They also participate in teams that design and implement projects to address one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). WAFW coursework is comprised of 8 four-week training modules. Each module is facilitated by a person who has achieved success and recognition as a leader in corporate, community, education, business, government, or an entrepreneurial setting. So, here’s where you come in...

Facilitators are the backbone of our non-profit work at the WAFW. They volunteer four weeks of their time to teach the modules on university campuses worldwide. They pay their own airfare to get there. They rarely speak the language and aren't very familiar with the food or the culture. Yet they consistently return home with the same comments.

Be a Mentor

Our Academy members thrive on one-to-one relationships with mentors. These relationships take place while they are at the World Academy and after they graduate. Most of the mentoring is virtual, which means you will be relying on Skype and email. All of the mentoring is meaningful, providing a wonderful bridge between age, culture, and experience.

Repeatedly, we are told that our mentors gain as much from the experience as the students do. They learn about themselves, as well as reap the deep reward of watching young people grow in infinite ways as leaders and individuals.

Be an Organizational Partner

The World Academy for the Future of Women is a bold and daring program to accelerate women’s leadership worldwide. After years of seeking solutions to women’s economic status, health, education, and gender equality, women remain at the bottom of society on all measures of quality of life. To address these issues we need women to take the lead and be responsible for their lives and the lives of others to eliminate conditions that have kept them from living fully expressed and meaningful lives - in their families, in their communities, and throughout the world. The resources and solutions exist. What is missing is women in leadership roles to forge new paths and bring women forward to have a voice and a choice in their lives and their future.

We need partners to align with our purpose, to share our passion, and to create a new path for success. We invite organizations to join us as we move this agenda forward.

The link below will show you a list of the Partners who have joined us. Please contact us and become a part of this dynamic process.
