Sias organizes Special Assessment of Student Financial Aid

June 17, 2022

Sias University organized a special assessment of student financial aid at each residential college through self-examination, self-evaluation, and mutual examination, by combining the investigations based on observations, interviews, and evaluation. The assessment was held to improve the management of student financial aid and its level based on the performance evaluation system of student financial aid management in Henan.

On June 6, the university issued a notice concerning the special assessment of student financial assistance, specifying its organization, time, duration, methods, arrangements, and requirements. From June 7 to 12, each residential college sorted out its funding according to the quantitative assessment indicators for student funding. They provided supporting documentation, presented self-examination reports, and summarized the development, problems, and experiences concerning their funding work.

On June 13, on the basis of self-examination and self-evaluation, an expert group comprised of funding specialists from each residential college conducted mutual evaluations and reviews of the assessment materials. Through supporting materials, mutual evaluation, discussions, and exchanges, they summarized their funding work experience, exchanged ideas, and discussed the innovation of the funding work. On June 16, the head of the Student Financial Aid Management Center visited the 9 residential colleges and conducted interviews about the use of student financial aid materials and equipment.

Sias University used the assessment as an opportunity to exchange, discuss, and summarize the experiences of student financial aid management to promote the standardization of student financial assistance.
