Born in Changyan, in the province of Henan, she showed an aptitude for sports, particularly the javelin throw, in her teenage years. A late-bloomer in the event, she won gold in the women's javelin event at the National Track & Field Grand Prix in 2012 by breaking the Asian record with a throw of 64.95 meters. She won the silver medal at the 2015 World Championships and bronze medals at the 2017 World Championships (where she set her personal best of 67.59 meters) and the 2019 World Championships.



Shui Jingjing

After graduation, she joined the land field force of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA). She was selected to participate in the peacekeeping force training in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, she participated in peacekeeping missions in South Sudan and served as a Protection Officer and Translator for women and children. She also completed a Master's in International Relations in Israel.

He joined the National Civil Service in 2011 and has served as the Deputy Mayor of Liujie Town, Jinning District, and then the Deputy Director of the Bureau of Commerce and Investment Promotion of Jinning District.

From 2008 to 2010 she was a Senior Consultant at Hong Kong Huasheng International Financial Research Center. From July to December 2010, she was a researcher at Shanghai Huace Investment. From December 2010 to March 2012, she was the Assistant General Manager of Guangxi Nanning Yuanran Computer Technology. From March 2012 to May 2015, she was the Financing Director of Guangxi Real Estate (Group). From May 2015 to October 2016, she was the Director of the Business Department II at Guangxi Tietou Innovation Capital Investment. Since 2016, she has served as the Senior Investment Manager at China ASEAN Information Harbor.
