Thursday, April 25 - Sias University held a Teaching Observation Conference on the first floor of the Library on the 24th of April. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, attended the Conference, along with over 800 teachers, and staff from the Academic Affairs Office. The Dean of the Academic Affairs Office, Wang Xiaoquan, presided over the meeting.

Among the speakers were the winner of Henan University's Ideological & Political Theory Teachers' Teaching Skills Competition, and teacher at Sias' School of Marxism, Zhang Jing; the winner of the 2018/19 academic year Teaching Contest, and teacher at Sias' School of Accounting, Zhang Chunhong; and teacher at the School of Electronics & Information Engineering, Hu Daidi.

The goal of the Conference is to help teachers improve their level while providing valuable learning opportunities for young teachers. It also serves as an exhibition of the results of curriculum reform and the implementation of new teaching methods.

Classrooms are the main location of undergraduate education. Sias' leaders have given great importance to it, and have continually stressed the importance of reform and improvement. The Teaching Observation Conference organized by Sias has also implemented the directives of the National Conference on University Students' Education in the New Era, and the Henan Undergraduate Education Conference held on the 19th of April. An added goal is to nurture students and teachers with moral integrity through exchanges, discussions, classroom innovation, and the reform and development of educational ideas. The Conference encouraged teachers to increase exchanges, learn from each other, improve the level of the faculty at Sias together, and get students to actively participate in their own education.
