Exchange Programs

One of the major development strategies of Sias University is the promotion of international education. The Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, is a former President of the Association of Universities of Asia & the Pacific (AUAP) from 2014 to 2016, and currently serves as an Executive Board Member. Sias has carried out multi-level exchanges and cooperation with over 200 universities and scientific research institutions from over 40 countries and regions, involving the exchange of teachers, teaching material, students, and credits, forming an internationalized educational ethos of cultural integration and resource sharing. Every year, educational delegations, celebrities, entrepreneurs, university presidents, women's rights groups, and university student delegations from the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea, and other countries visit Sias for academic exchanges and discussions. In addition to this, many foreign universities and middle schools take part in summer camps at Sias. The university regularly organizes overseas study tours during winter and summer vacations and holds large-scale foreign affairs activities to give students the experience and opportunities of an international community.

Sias University also carries out international student education programs. There are over 200 international students at Sias, who come from over 25 countries, including Europe and the United States, the Middle East, Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. As a member of the governing body of the UMAP exchange alliance, Sias ensures that its students and faculty members can participate in flexible exchange programs from over 600 universities in the alliance.
