Since its founding in 1998, Sias University has been a pioneer in introducing the concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Sias University has implemented a comprehensive methodology for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship that emphasizes “teaching, practice, incubation, and promotion.” By leveraging the combined advantages of China and the United States, Sias University has provided high-quality training and support to explore and cultivate the path of innovation and entrepreneurship among Sias students.

Sias University Entrepreneurship Park was established in 2012 and has garnered significant recognition. In 2015, it was acknowledged by the Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government as the “Zhengzhou Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubator.” Additionally, it was selected by the Education Department of Henan Province as the “Henan Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Demonstration Base,” and “Henan Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Demonstration University.” In 2017, the Xinzheng Science and Technology Bureau recognized the Park as “Sias Maker Space.” Furthermore, from 2022 to 2023, the Zhengzhou Employment and Entrepreneurship Work Leading Group consecutively selected Sias University Entrepreneurship Park as an “Excellent Entrepreneurship Service Organization,” highlighting its commitment to providing exceptional entrepreneurial support and services.

Sias University Entrepreneurship Park boasts various entrepreneurial practice areas, including a nursery area, incubation area, acceleration area, and an online creation practice center. It also offers shared spaces tailored for entrepreneurial projects, such as shared negotiation rooms, conference rooms, broadcasting studios, public storage, and project roadshow rooms. This diverse array of facilities fulfills four key functions: providing entrepreneurial space, hosting entrepreneurial bazaars, facilitating online creation practices, and serving as a comprehensive service platform. These facilities collectively offer a robust platform for aspiring entrepreneurs among Sias students and teams. To ensure orderly operations, Sias University Entrepreneurship Park has issued the “Management Measures of Henan Sias Maker Space Co., Ltd. (for Trial Implementation),” which clarifies entry criteria, preferential policies, and assessment standards. Currently, all venues and facilities within Sias University Entrepreneurship Park are freely accessible to entrepreneurial projects initiated by the Sias students.

Sias University has established an Incubation Base as an innovation and entrepreneurship platform specifically designed to offer comprehensive support and services to Sias students and entrepreneurial teams. This Base provides entrepreneurial guidance, financial assistance, and project incubation, among other forms of support. Within Sias Incubation Base, students can engage in entrepreneurial project planning, marketing, technology development, and related tasks. Furthermore, through the entrepreneurial platform and resources offered by the Base, students can establish their own enterprises. The Sias Incubation Base goes beyond mere resource provision by inviting entrepreneurial mentors and experts from diverse industries to conduct entrepreneurial training, experience sharing sessions, and other courses. These initiatives are aimed at enhancing Sias students’ entrepreneurial experience and skills, thus equipping them better for the challenges and opportunities of the business world.

Sias University has been recognized as one of the first “Student Entrepreneurship Demonstration Bases in Henan Province” and one of the fourth batch of “Demonstration Universities for Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education in Henan Province.” Sias University encourages and supports students to participate in the “China College Students ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” and continues to promote learning through the competition. At the same time, Sias provides a platform for many student entrepreneurs to work, create network, socialize, and share resources, and builds a platform for practical training, development, and incubation of entrepreneurial projects.

Furthermore, Sias University actively promotes student participation in a wide array of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, including the China College Students “Internet Plus” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the “Challenge Cup” National College Students' Extracurricular Science and Technology Works Competition, achieving remarkable results in these prestigious competitions. Sias University fosters close collaborations with enterprises to offer students invaluable internship and employment opportunities, bridging the gap between academia and industry. Additionally, it organizes a series of innovation and entrepreneurship forums and lectures, aimed at broadening Sias students’ entrepreneurial horizons, and inspiring them to actively explore the exciting path of innovation and entrepreneurship.
