Digital Technology School of Sias (DTS)

Sias Digital Technology School (DTS), a subsidiary school of Sias University, was founded in May, 2022. It currently offers six undergraduate programs: Software Engineering, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Engineering, Information Management and Information Systems, and Computer Science and Technology. With over 2,400 students enrolled, the school boasts a faculty of 126, including 82 full-time teachers and 13 adjunct professors. Situated in the Sias Science and Education Industrial Park within Zhengzhou's Jinshui Science and Education Zone, the park spans 199 acres, featuring a planned construction area of 470,000 square meters, of which 230,000 square meters have been completed.

In its two years of operation, the school has garnered several accolades, such as the Provincial City-Level Industry-Education Consortium, Provincial Key Modern Industry School, Provincial Intelligent Manufacturing Digital Twin Engineering Research Center, National Digital Literacy and Skills Training Co-construction Base, and Zhengzhou New Generation Information Technology High-Skilled Talent Public Training Base.

Guided and approved by the Henan Provincial Education Department, DTS represents the province's first mixed-ownership industry-education integration initiative, jointly launched by Sias Group, Sias University, iSoftStone Group, and iSoftStone Education. It aims to establish a high-level model industry school that integrates talent development, technological innovation, scientific services, student entrepreneurship, and continuing education.

The school's establishment responds to the demands of new productive forces and the advent of the AI era, aligning with the national digital economy's strategic transformation and Henan Province's electronic information industry cluster's focus on key chains like intelligent terminals and advanced computing. It adapts to broader technological and industrial shifts, supports regional economic growth, nurtures urgently needed digital technology talents for the province's high-quality and transformative industrial development, and facilitates supply-demand alignment and process re-engineering. Tasked with pioneering industry-education integration reforms, it forges a "Henan New Model."

The school innovates its dual-element education model—combining "campus with industrial park, teachers with engineers, students with prospective employees, and theory with practice"—and implements project-based, apprenticeship, and fully credit-based systems. It strives to cultivate well-rounded, innovative, technically skilled, and globally competent new engineering talents.
