Sias School of Computer and Software Engineering consists of five academic departments (Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Blockchain Engineering, and Information and Computing Science), one practical training center (Computer Engineering Practice Center), and two administrative offices (the Dean's Office and the Academic Affairs Office).

Adhering to the educational philosophy of "industry driving education while education promotes industry," the school implements a "Four Alignments" talent development approach: "alignment between majors and industry positions," "alignment between curriculum content and professional standards," "alignment between practical training and real-world projects," and "alignment between teaching processes and enterprise production workflows." This approach aims to achieve seamless integration between talent cultivation and industry needs. Currently, the school has established cooperative programs with leading enterprises such as iFLYTEK, iSoftStone, and Dingli Education, jointly offering three majors - Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, and Data Science and Big Data Technology - in collaboration with iFLYTEK School of Artificial Intelligence, ISoftStone School of Information Innovation Industry, and Dingli School of Communication Industry for joint management of teaching activities.

With the mission of cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents, the school maintains a student-centered approach and actively works towards building a high-level academic institution. Currently, the school has over 3,800 enrolled students, more than 160 full-time faculty members and over 50 adjunct faculty members, and more than 30 laboratories and computer rooms, which fully meet the needs of discipline construction and professional teaching.
