Zhixing Residential College
Zhixing Residential College was established in August, 2016, and is the first residential college of Sias University, covering West Sixth, West Seventh, and West Twelfth dormitory buildings. It currently has 17 members, including the Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, and tutors, accommodating over 3,300 students. At present, the college has set up three "One-stop" Student Community Service Centers, which have various functional activity facilities such as Zhiyue Space (psychological counseling), Zhixing Space (recreational activities), Zhixiang Space (mentoring exchanges), career and entrepreneurship service workshops, Party and League activity rooms, as well as seminar rooms and public study rooms.
Zhixing Residential College adheres to the motto "Diligent Learning and Practical Application" and cultivates students' core qualities of "seeking truth, following reason, cultivating elegance, and nurturing integrity." It implements the "One-Two-Three-Four-Five-Six" construction and development strategy, which means building one theme, cultivating two sentiments, creating three types of courses, implementing four integrations, consolidating five batches, and constructing six systems, to build our college into a modern residential college where students enjoy learning and living, full of youthful vitality. In 2020, the college's General Party Branch was awarded the title of "Advanced Primary-level Party Organization" by the Henan CPC Working Committee.

The "One-stop" Student Community Service Center of Zhixing Residential College guides students to develop a healthy lifestyle through fun sports meets, tug-of-war competitions, basketball games, etc.; it cultivates students' critical thinking and language expression skills through debate competitions, speech contests, and lecture contests; it guides students to develop a healthy mindset through psychological health knowledge contests, psychological drama contests, and group counseling; it guides students to develop scientific study habits through CET-4/6 preparation lectures, postgraduate entrance examination lectures, and English parks; it further deepens students' scientific education through Zhixing Lecture Hall, science popularization training camps, science knowledge contests, and themed characteristic courses on scientific thinking education. Through a series of science popularization education courses and activities, students are cultivated to become "generalists," better adapting to the development of the era of big science and becoming practical talents for the country.
