Driven by the tide of the times, in early 2024, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in his speech that “we should optimize the discipline settings and talent training models of higher education institutions according to the new trend of scientific and technological development, and cultivate urgently needed talents for the development of new quality productive forces and the promotion of high-quality development.” It is precisely the call of this spirit of the times that the name “Xinzhi” has emerged and the Xinzhi "One-stop" Student Community Service Center has been built. It not only carries the mission of educational innovation and student oriented, but also leads the new trend of talent cultivation in the future. Here, we are committed to creating a new field of education that is rich in the characteristics of the times, reflects the requirements of ideology and politics, and is close to the actual situation of students.
1. Connotation
"One-stop" Student Community Service Center of Xinzhi Residential College is not only a home, but also a palace of knowledge sharing. At present, it has 1 Student Affairs Center, 8 student community counseling stations, and 12 student activity spaces. Here, a diverse range of second classroom activity spaces are set up, such as psychological counseling room, maker space, gymnasium, dance rehearsal room, music rehearsal room, tutors’ offices, pottery and wood art laboratory, and so on.
In the practice of dual academy education system, our "One-stop" Student Community Service Center will strive to cultivate more high-quality digital talents with innovative spirit, high practical ability, and excellent professional quality, so as to provide talent guarantee for the development of new quality productive forces in the country.
