Application & Visa Process

Necessary Documents

1. Application Form.

2. Copy of the page with personal information in the passport (ordinary passport).

3. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form & Blood Examination Report.

5. Certificate of Non-criminal Record.

6. Highest education diploma (notarized photocopy or original one) or certificate of expected graduation date from the (current) high school.

7. Notarized Transcripts.

8. Power of attorney in China Authenticated by the Chinese Embassy abroad or valid documents of your legal guardians in China (only required for applicants under the age of 18).


The language of documents should be in English or Chinese, or attached with translations in English or Chinese.



Step 1: Please send application materials to our university admissions email address:

apply@sias.edu.cn or admission@sias.edu.cn as soon as you have prepared all the materials.


Step 2: After the application fee is received, Sias University will have the following documents prepared within two weeks:

- Admission Notice,

- Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202)

- Other admission materials.

The above materials will be sent out by DHL or by S.F. Express.


Step 3: Admitted students should apply to the Chinese embassy/consulate for a Student Visa (X1/X2 Visa) with the Admission Notice, Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202), and other visa application materials.

The X1 Visa is a valid visa for long-term studies over 180 days; the X2 Visa is a valid visa for short-term studies less than 180 days.

Step 4: Admitted students should register with the original Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW202) at Sias University within the due time. Students who wish to register late must ask the International Student Admissions Office for permission. Late registrations without consent will be postponed to the following academic semester/year for the intended study.
