The Red Square (Castle) Cafeteria opened in early 2011 and has a seating capacity of over 900. It is a large and well-lit space.
The Castle Cafeteria has a wide range of Mainland Chinese food, Taiwanese food, and food from other regions. It also has a small department store and is designed to combine the feel of a modern cafeteria with a 'food street'. It has been designated as a Demonstration Site of University Cafeterias by the Henan Education Commission. It has trash and recycling sorting areas to create an environmentally conscious waste disposal system.
The Cafeteria also has washing and disinfection stations, with regular cleaning instituted to create a safe dining environment.
