Sias International University and Henan Xinzheng Rural Commercial Bank signed a strategic cooperation agreement on April 19. The signing ceremony was held at Sias' administration building. Representatives of Henan Xinzheng Rural Commercial Bank who were present were the Chairman, Ma Wenming, President He Dongting, Vice President Yuan Zhantuan, and the Secretary of the Board, Jin Yanhui. Sias was represented by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, President Dr. Chen Sikun, Proctor Han Xiaoai, and Assistant Principal Sun Rujian. Members of Henan Xinzheng Rural Commercial Bank's Education Department and Credit Department, along with members of Sias' School Office, Finance Department, School Trade Union, Student Affairs Office, Employment and Entrepreneurship Department, and Logistics Group were also present. The meeting was presided over by the Director of Sias' Finance Department, Zhu Lin.

At the signing ceremony, a video recounting the history of the development of Sias was shown. Dr. Shawn Chen delivered a speech in which he spoke of the inseparable links between a university and the community around it. He also thanked the Chairman of the Henan Xinzheng Rural Commercial Bank, Ma Wenming, for his support in the development of Sias. Sias, he said, aims to cooperate with the bank to help in the development of Xinzheng City.

After a video presentation about the Henan Xinzheng Rural Commercial Bank, Ma Wenming delivered a speech in which he spoke of the willingness of the bank to provide support, financial services, funding for underprivileged students, employment, and entrepreneurial guidance. He said he hoped that the bank would be able to provide convenient services to both students and teachers at Sias.
