Founder of Wanda Group meets with Sias Founder

The Dalian Wanda Group invited the Founder, and Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, and the Founder of U.S.-based Plug and Play (PNP), Rahim Amidi, to a meeting with the Chairman of the Dalian Wanda Group, Wang Jianlin, on April 27. Also present at the meeting was the Vice President of Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties, Lai Jianyan.


At the meeting, the sides briefed each other on their backgrounds and their organizations. They held in-depth talks on cooperation in the fields of science & technology, and education, and reached a series of agreements.


Founded in 1988, in Dalian, Liaoning province, and now headquartered in Beijing, the Wanda Group is a multinational conglomerate corporation and the world's biggest private property developer and owner, and the world's largest cinema chain operator. The company was ranked 385th on the Fortune Global 500 List in 2015. Its assets were valued at ¥796.2 billion in 2016, with operating revenue of ¥255 billion.
