Sponsored by the Department of Higher Education at the Henan Department of Education, and undertaken by the Henan University Graphics Committee and Xinxiang College, the "Henan University Library Work & Library Training Meeting" was held at Xinxiang University. The Sias Library was commended and won the honorary title of "Advanced Unit of University Library Service Innovation in Henan" for 2019 for its outstanding work and achievements.

Libraries are a vital part of colleges and universities. In 2019, Sias University's Library put a great emphasis on service innovation. On the basis of continuing the culture of reading activities through the years, the Sias Library combined tradition and modernity to build a reading system that focused on reading exchanges, reading activities, and the popularization of reading brands. They also relied on the functions of student associations and encouraged them to innovate and enrich their reading activities. They also encouraged the strengthening of cooperation between departments, accurately served the demands of research and learning at Sias, and assisted teachers in learning and writing. In addition to these functions, they also promoted the marketing of reading activities, the services at the library, and worked towards improving students' learning, cognitive abilities, and cultural literacy.

In the upcoming first semester of the 2020/21 academic year, the Sias Library aims to improve its work efficiency, continuously innovate its service quality, remain student-centered, increase the cultural education at the library, and improve its professionalism and service. It also aims to provide literature for teaching, scientific research, academic course creation and contribute to the creation of a unique campus culture.
