From June 3 to 4, Feng Hui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Convener of the Henan Station of China Media Group (CMG), and Zhan Junfei, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CCTV Industry Development Co., Ltd. (CTVIG), led a delegation to Sias for an exchange visit. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on aligning media talent cultivation with industrial demands, laying a solid foundation for collaborative development between the two sides.

The delegation toured Sias Digital Technology School, Sias International School (Zhengdong New District), and Sias main campus. They inspected teaching facilities, gained a detailed understanding of specialized programs and internationalized educational models, and directly experienced Sias's practical achievements in integrating industry with education and fostering diverse talents.

On the morning of June 4, a symposium was held on the 15th floor of Sias Library, presided over by Zhao Yuxin, Vice President, Secretary of the CPC Sias Commission for Discipline Inspection of Sias University. In his welcome address, Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, elaborated on Sias's development path of being "application-oriented, locally-rooted, and internationally-focused." He showcased Sias's practice-oriented educational model, spanning from its educational philosophy to its talent cultivation system.

Subsequently, Zhan Junfei shared insights into the group's industrial layout and the demands of the media sector, proposing to explore collaboration opportunities centered on content creation and technological application, particularly in project practice and resource sharing. Feng Hui, drawing on CMG's media dissemination practices in Henan, analyzed talent requirements within the context of regional media convergence. She suggested deepening cooperation through internships, practical training, and joint research initiatives to invigorate the local media ecosystem.

In closing, Jia Shiqiu, Dean of Sias School of Journalism and Communication, remarked that this exchange has broadened horizons for the development of journalism and communication talents, particularly offering fresh perspectives on "industry-education-research-application" integrated cultivation and industry demand alignment. Sias will take this symposium as a starting point to consolidate areas of consensus and promote substantive cooperation in optimizing talent cultivation programs and establishing practical training bases.
