On May 23, Sias University had an official Welcoming Ceremony, with an Honor Guard and the Sias Marching Band, for delegations from the Kansas Board of Regents and Fort Hays State University (FHSU). Member of the Kansas Board of Regents, Allen Schmidt, and the Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, reviewed the Honor Guard.
Dr. Chen welcomed the delegations and thanked the Kansas Board of Regents for their support to Fort Hays State University and Sias University. He said that they had played an important role in Sias' growth over the past 20 years and hoped that the support would continue in the future. Allen Schmidt, speaking on behalf of the Kansas Board of Regents, thanked Sias for the welcome and wished Sias for its 20th anniversary. He said that hoped that Sias and FHSU would deepen their cooperation and continue to produce outstanding talents together in the future.

On May 23, Sias University had an official Welcoming Ceremony for a visiting delegation from the U.S.-China Business Association. The Honor Guard was reviewed by the Vice Chairman of the U.S.-China Business Association, Colin Wu, and the Founder & Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen.
Dr. Chen thanked the delegation from the U.S.-China Business Association for their support and cooperation and said that he was looking forward to the big event which the U.S.-China Business Association has organized at Sias University in September. Colin Wu said that he appreciated the internationalized campus and the educational concept of Sias. He wished Sias for its 20th anniversary and said that he hoped that the U.S.-China Business Association and Sias University would have lots of cooperative projects in the coming years.

Sias University held an official Welcoming Ceremony for a large delegation from the Association of Universities of Asia & the Pacific (AUAP) on May 23. The ceremony included an Honor Guard and the Sias Marching Band, as well as the raising of the AUAP flag. The President of AUAP, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, and the Founder & Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, reviewed the Honor Guard.
Dr. Chen, who is the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the AUAP and served as its President from 2014 to 2016, welcomed the delegation. He said that many of the delegations represented Sias' partner universities, and added that without the AUAP's help and support, Sias would not have grown into what it is today. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi also delivered a speech and thanked the students and teachers of Sias for the welcome. He said that Dr. Chen and Sias had contributed greatly to the continued growth of the AUAP. He also said that he hoped that the 2nd Joint AUAP-IAUP International Conference to be held at Sias University would be a success as it was coinciding with Sias' 20th anniversary celebrations.

The Honor Guard was reviewed by the President of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), Dr. Kakha Shengelia, and the Founder & Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen.
Dr. Chen welcomed the delegation on behalf of Sias and said that the IAUP had witnessed the development of Sias through its support and help. He thanked the delegation for their friendship and welcomed them to the 20th anniversary celebrations. Dr. Shengelia thanked Sias for its hospitality and its contributions to the IAUP. He said that he hoped that Sias would continue to develop and grow in the future.
