A 5-member delegation from the North University of China visited Sias University on the morning of April 12. The delegation included the Dean of the School of Information Business, Wang Zhaoba, the Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President, Shi Rugen, the Director of the Office, He Xiaoyu, the Director of Human Resources and Development Planning, Zhao Yinghu, and the Director of Education Affairs, Xu Yanfang.

Sias President, Chen Sikun, and leaders of certain departments accompanied the delegation on a campus tour that included Sias' student innovation stores, CUBA Training Facility, Golf Driving Range, Student Activity Center, Library, and Zhishan Residential College.

After the campus tour, the delegation had a meeting with Sias leaders including Chen Sikun, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, and the heads of the Administration Office, Party Committee Office, Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, Human Resources Department, and the School of International Education. The meeting was chaired by Li Huafeng.

The members of the delegation were shown Sias' official promotional video. Following this, Chen Sikun welcomed the delegation on behalf of Sias. He introduced them to the development history and spoke about Sias' educational philosophy, teaching, campus culture, international exchanges, cooperation, and residential college system. He said that in the past 20 years, Sias had carried out the policies of the Communist Party of China through its motto of East-meets-West as well as the integration of knowledge and practice. He said that the internationalized nature of the university had helped nurture unique talents at the university. He also spoke of the significance of the 20th anniversary celebrations as an opportunity to implement new concepts of education in China. He said that Sias aimed to continue to contribute to the Central Plains of China, especially the reform and opening up of Henan, and the Zhengzhou area's development, evolving culture, and contribution to China on a social and economic level. He concluded by saying that he hoped that the two universities would increase exchanges and cooperation, and invited the members of the delegation to Sias' 20th anniversary celebrations in May.

Wang Zhaoba spoke about the School of Information Business at the North University of China. He thanked the Sias leaders for the welcome and spoke of his appreciation of Sias' educational philosophy, campus culture, facilities, and architecture.

The two sides had in-depth discussions about exchanges between the two universities, as well as university management, teacher and personnel training, student entrepreneurship, political ideology, international education, and student exchanges.
