To strengthen institutional development, improve the quality of talent cultivation, and enhance the effectiveness of teaching and education, the university organized the first phase of the “Empowering Development Through Digital Intelligence and Enhancing Educational Quality” Summer Special Training Program from July 23 to 24 in the Banquet Hall on the first floor of the Administrative Building. More than 150 participants, including relevant university leaders, representatives from the Academic Affairs Department, Research Office, Human Resources Office, Finance and Asset Management Office, heads of various schools and departments, leaders of the five master’s degree authorization programs, and related project specialists, attended the training.

The first phase of the training mainly adopted the formats of thematic lectures and centralized learning. Focusing on key topics including master’s degree application advancement for private universities and high-quality discipline development, experts provided in-depth discussions on the core positioning of professional master’s education and social needs. They analyzed pathways and implementation strategies for cultivating distinctive talent, and systematically explained the top-level design principles and key practical elements for high-quality master’s degree authorization development.

In addition, from the perspective of big data research, experts shared systematic analytical approaches for degree program and discipline development driven by digital intelligence technologies. They explained theoretical frameworks and practical approaches for building high-quality disciplinary systems and promoting interdisciplinary integration. Drawing on the experiences of similar universities inside and outside Henan Province, they also shared effective practices in using evaluation to promote development and advancing discipline construction and master’s degree program cultivation in a systematic manner.

According to reports, the training program consists of two phases. The second phase will be held in August and will adopt a dual-track format of “centralized learning through a main forum + group discussions through parallel forums.” During the second phase, participants will conduct exchanges and discussions on topics including professional ethics and conduct of teachers, industry-education integration, experimental teaching, academic competitions, and academic advisor-based student development. Discussions will focus on five major areas: improving course quality, developing industry-oriented colleges, enhancing competition performance, strengthening laboratory management, and promoting AI literacy education. Each school and department will be required to develop practical teaching reform proposals based on the outcomes of these discussions.

This specialized and targeted training program is an important initiative for the university to deepen educational development and promote high-quality growth. It will play a significant role in building consensus on teaching reform, improving discipline development, and strengthening the foundation for master’s degree authorization applications.

Moving forward, the university will steadily advance the second phase of group discussions, guide faculty and staff members to absorb and apply new concepts and methods gained from the training, and transform learning outcomes into practical achievements in talent cultivation plan optimization, curriculum reform, discipline特色 development, and master’s degree program construction. Through continuous empowerment by digital intelligence, the university will further improve the quality and efficiency of education, teaching, and master’s degree program development.
