From September 16 to 17, a delegation from Zhejiang University, headed by its Party Secretary, Zheng Qiang, visited Sias International University.

On the 16th, the delegation went on a tour of the Sias campus, accompanied by Sias President, Chen Sikun, and Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng. They visited teaching and living facilities, as well as the CUBA Training Center, the Golf Driving Range, Chinese Garden, Library, and European Street. Chen Sikun and Li Huafeng introduced the delegation to Sias' development history, architectural planning, and East-meets-West educational philosophy.

On the 17th morning, the delegation attended Sias' annual Military Training Parade at the Track & Field Stadium. They then had a meeting with the Sias leadership in the Library. The Founder and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Shawn Chen, Sias President, Chen Sikun, Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng, Vice President, Wu Hua, Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede, were at the meeting. Also present at the meeting were the leaders of the Administrative Office, Academic Affairs Office, Communist Youth League, Employment & Entrepreneurship Department, School of Physical Education, School of Music, School of Opera, and Marxist Institute.

After the official promotional video of Sias was shown, Dr. Chen welcomed the delegation. He spoke in detail about the development of Sias over the past 20 years. He also spoke about the recent establishment of the residential college system at Sias. He said that Sias paid particular attention to academic growth, student-centered educational ideas, and a well-rounded end product.

The Party Secretary of Zhejiang University, Zheng Qiang, thanked Sias for the welcome and spoke of his appreciation for Sias' developmental growth and educational philosophy. He said that the integration of Sias' educational model and the outstanding teaching reputation of Zhejiang University, through mutual cooperation, would benefit both universities greatly.

On the evening of the 17th, the Zhejiang University delegation attended Sias' annual Candlelight & Opening Ceremony, which featured the start of the 20th Anniversary Celebrations. Zheng Qiang delivered one of the keynote speeches and shared his insights into education and university life.
