Sias Holds AI+X Curriculum Reform Training Mobilization Meeting

On the morning of June 18, Sias convened the AI+X Curriculum Reform Training Mobilization Meeting in the lecture hall on the first floor of No. 16 Classroom Building. Dr. Shawn Chen, Founder and Chairman of Sias University, along with Ma Jiansheng, Secretary of the CPC Sias Committee, Wu Hua, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Sias Committee, Executive Vice President, Chairman of the Labor Union, Zhao Yuxin, Vice President and Secretary of the CPC Sias Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Prof. Lucy Lu, Provost and Vice President of Sias University, attended the meeting. Present at the venue were heads of various teaching units, responsible persons from the Information Construction and Management Department, Academic Affairs Office (Curriculum Center), Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Center, Teacher Development Center, and Human Resources Department, as well as members of the university-level AI+X faculty training team. All faculty members participated online via Microsoft Teams. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Yuxin.

Dr. Chen Xiaochun delivered a mobilization speech, emphasizing that the AI+X curriculum reform represents a significant innovation in Sias's educational history, possessing forward-looking and strategic significance. He highlighted that the application of artificial intelligence in education and teaching will bring new opportunities and challenges to the university, urging all faculty members to actively engage in training, enhance their AI application capabilities, and contribute to the university's high-quality development.

Deputy Director Chen Jing from the Academic Affairs Office introduced the overall arrangements for the training work and the composition of the AI+X curriculum reform faculty training team, stressing the importance of discipline and enthusiasm from teachers during the training process. Director Li Xia from the Information Construction and Management Department provided a detailed report on Sias's progress in platform support, AI multi-scenario applications, and data governance, showcasing specific cases of AI-assisted learning, teaching, and management within the university.

Dr. Tong Jiarui elaborated on the background, objectives, and implementation plan of the AI+X curriculum reform. He emphasized that the reform aims to enhance students' learning outcomes and innovative capabilities through artificial intelligence technology, cultivating comprehensive talents with AI literacy. Dr. Tong also reviewed the achievements of the pilot courses and elaborated on the training plan for the upcoming three weeks.

Zhao Yuxin delivered the concluding remarks, reiterating the importance and urgency of the AI+X curriculum reform, and calling upon all faculty members to actively participate in the training, earnestly study, and apply the training content to teaching practices, making new contributions to the university's high-quality development.

This mobilization meeting marks a significant step forward in Sias's educational reform empowered by artificial intelligence. Through the AI+X curriculum reform, Sias will further enhance the quality of talent cultivation and promote innovation in education and teaching. The active participation of all faculty members and the strategic support from the university will lay a solid foundation for the university's high-quality development.
