On June 9 and 10, students from Sias International University participated in the finals of the nationwide 'Star of Outlook English Talent Competition'. The competition is organized by the Beijing Star of Outlook International Education Consultant Co. and sponsored by CCTV. Over 2,500 contestants from 32 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, gathered in Beijing to compete against each other. Sias students Zuo Shi and Wang Yue finished in the top 10 among all contestants.

The theme of the finals was "Beyond the Stage to the World". The competition aimed to give students and contestants a platform to speak to the world. Three teachers from Sias' School of Foreign Languages, Wang Haizhen, Yang Xiangyu, and Wang Xingqing led 8 students from Sias into the final rounds. The students from Sias were Zuo Shi, Wang Yue, Wang Xingzhen, Guo Jingya, Liu Xiaoyu, Zhang Jing, Kong Miao, and Sima Yuanhao. The competition was divided into 4 parts: personality display, impromptu speech, debates, and question & answers. A wide range of topics was covered that included history, politics, economics, society, and science & technology.

Following the performance of all the members of the Sias team throughout the entire competition, they will be interviewed in July by judges from International Enrollment League to secure invitations to study at prestigious international universities.

The performance by members of Sias' team at the 'Star of Outlook English Talent Competition' has reflected Sias' growing reputation for producing bilingual and proficient English-speaking graduates, which in turn is a byproduct of Sias' educational philosophy, development, and continued internationalization.
