On June 12, the Party Secretary of the School of Software and Applied Science & Technology at Zhengzhou University, Shen Xinsheng, visited Sias International University. He was accompanied by theSchool's Dean, Li Zongkun, the Executive Vice Dean, Wang Dingbiao, the Deputy Party Secretaries, Kou Xiaoming and Fu Lili, Vice President Li Xue, and the Office Director, Wang Tianfang. Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, President Chen Sikun, and members of Sias' Party Committee Office, accompanied the delegation from Zhengzhou University on a tour of Sias, as well as the ensuing meetings.

The delegation was taken on a campus tour of Sias that included the teaching facilities and dormitories. They visited examples of student entrepreneurship on Sias' European Street before they visited the CUBA Training Facility, Golf Driving Range, Chinese Garden, Sias Library, and the laboratories at the School of Electronics & Information Engineering. The delegation was also given an introduction to Sias' East-meets-West educational philosophy and unique campus culture and architecture.

The delegation met with Sias leaders and held a meeting, chaired by President Chen Sikun, in the conference room of the School of Electronics & Information Engineering. Party Secretary Ma Jiansheng and President Chen Sikun welcomed the delegation and gave them a brief introduction to the history, development, and educational philosophy of Sias. Members of the School of Electronics & Information Engineering were also present and gave a detailed summary of the School with regard to teaching, research, faculty, academic affairs, international exchanges, and cooperation.

Party Secretary Shen Xinsheng thanked the leaders for the reception and hoped that the meeting would lead to exchanges and cooperation between the related departments of the two universities. Dean Li Zongkun gave a presentation on the School of Software and Applied Science & Technology at Zhengzhou University that included its development and innovation. He said that he hoped that the two departments would work together in the near future.
