On April 17, the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater (CNODDT) performed "On the Road" in the concert hall of the Music building at Sias International University. The chief guest was the Supervisor of the Henan District of the National Art Fund, and Head of the Orchestra at the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater, Luan Dong. He was accompanied at the concert by the Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun, Executive Vice President, Dong Qiming, Vice President, Liu Shuqin, and Deputy Party Secretary, Li Huafeng.

The concert was funded by the National Arts Center. In accordance with the Belt and Road Initiative, which has historical and cultural significance to China, the aim of the concert was to provide an audio-visual experience for the listener with a combination of ideology, art, and culture. The performers from the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater (CNODDT) played many famous Chinese pieces including "Love between the Two Sides of the Taiwan Strait" and "The Time of Reunion". The orchestra also combined elements of traditional music with modern music.

After the concert, members of the orchestra interacted with those in the audience and introduced old musical instruments to them, as well as instruments like the pipa and dulcimer.
