On March 22, the Deputy Party Secretary of the Xinzheng Municipal Committee, and Mayor of Xinzheng, Ma Zhifeng, along with the Deputy Mayor of Xinzheng, Zhou Jianchao, led a delegation from the Xinzheng Municipal People's Government on a visit to Sias International University to inspect and assess the land, resources, and development plans that are currently underway at the University.

The Chairman of the Board of Sias, Dr. Shawn Chen, was present, along with the Sias Party Secretary, Ma Jiansheng, President, Chen Sikun, Executive Vice President, Dong Qiming, the Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Board, Wu Hua, and the leaders of the Administrative Office, Academic Affairs Office, and Logistics Department. The guests and Sias leaders went on a campus tour and visited the Chinese Garden, London Street, the New Sias Library, as well as classrooms, to get a feel for the general campus environment and international cultural elements at Sias.

Following the campus tour, a meeting was held between the two parties on the 10th floor of the New Sias Library. Dr. Shawn Chen thanked the government officials from Xinzheng for their support and guidance over the past 20 years. He said that as Sias had grown exponentially in the past 20 years, they would continue to focus on internationalization, a unique education model, and innovation and entrepreneurship for the development of Sias in the next 20 years. Sias would also continue to introduce high quality educational resources, carry out economic and cultural exchanges, and continue to contribute to the social and economic development of Xinzheng.

The Deputy Mayor of Xinzheng, Zhou Jianchao, said that the Xinzheng Municipal People's Government fully supported the work being done at Sias, including the educational model and teaching methods, and would provide assistance and guidance whenever needed. He said that the government expected further growth from Sias in the future.

The Deputy Party Secretary of the Xinzheng Municipal Committee, and Mayor of Xinzheng, Ma Zhifeng, said that the educational model of Sias, combining theory and practice, was a sign of development and progress with the times. He said that Sias International University was at the forefront of education in Henan Province in terms of culture, art, science & technology, and international exchanges, and it provided a good platform for international and regional cooperation and exchanges. Over the course of the past 20 years, he said, Sias had produced a large number of excellent graduates for the region, and the Xinzheng Municipal People's Government would continue to help with the development of Sias in the future in this regard.

The meeting closed with discussions about future development plans and cooperation between Sias and the Xinzheng government and area.
