On November 1, Sias International University was visited by a delegation from Zhoukou Normal University. The delegation included the President of Zhoukou Normal University, Li Yifan, the Dean of Academic Affairs, Chang Jiazhong, the Director of Scientific Research, Li Qingchen, and the Library Curator, Liu Huaipan.

The delegation held a meeting with Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun, and Assistant Principal, Guo Xuede. Also at the meeting were leaders and representatives of the Academic Affairs Office, the Scientific Research Department, the Sias Library, and the Administrative Office.

Sias President, Dr. Chen Sikun, welcomed the delegation and spoke about Sias' history, internationalization, faculty, and campus culture. He also spoke about Sias' East-meets-West ideology and the goal for all students with regard to the integration of knowledge with practice. He said that Sias gives students a high-quality education, making use of Chinese and Western resources, to produce well-rounded, English-speaking, adaptable, and innovative graduates.

The Dean of the Academic Affairs Office, Wang Xiaoquan, spoke about educational reforms at Sias, as well as the environment that nurtures students with regard to management and being equipped for professional life after university. The Director of the Scientific Research Department, Li Junjing, spoke about the enhanced level of research at Sias, and the new initiatives taken in academic research. The Sias Librarian, Hu Zhirong, spoke about the concepts of innovation behind the construction and design of Sias' New Library, as well as the student experience that it provides.

The President of Zhoukou Normal University, Li Yifan, thanked the leaders for the introduction to Sias and spoke about Zhoukou Normal University. He said that he hoped that the two universities would build on their relationship, focusing on internationalization and educational development.
